It may look like a normal ballpoint, but SpyPen actually incorporates a digital video recorder. Which should come in handy for covertly capturing videos of the sultry MI6 agent Strawberry Fields, as she escorts you onto the next plane back to London.
Manufacturer Q Marlin has also put a “super sensitive” microphone inside which can record sound from up to 4.6m away. And do try to return it in one piece.
The 30g pen comes in either a 2GB or 4GB capacity model and although we would've hoped for fuel-cell power as it’s more futuristic, you’ll have to settle for USB instead. Would-be spies will have to be in and out within two hours though, or the lithium-ion battery will go flat.
Marlin’s SpyPen is available now, with the 2GB model priced at £60 ($100/€85) and the 4GB model at £70 ($110/€95). This story will self-destruct, if not properly stored...
