Understand how application security is evolving
OpenWorld Oracle's next Business Intelligence suite will see deeper integration with Oracle's Fusion middleware and applications plus support for online reporting.
Announced today, Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition 10g Release 3 will see integration with Oracle Database 10g's OLAP, Oracle Identity Management and a new dashboard for Oracle Daily Business Intelligence and PeopleSoft EPM.
During during the next 12 months, the suite will also feature native integration with SAP's BI Warehouse and support for SAP's InfoCubes.
Oracle is offering the ability to provide financial reporting through a portal, by adding support for Java Specification Request 168. Support for JSR 168 will enable organizations to put BI portlets inside the Oracle portal and provide alerts to users with RSS, the company says.
Other planned features include support for BPEL for workflow and Oracle's XML Publisher.®
