Coho Data goes blocky

By Chris Mellor

SHARE

Coho Data supports block storage with DataStream 2.7.

The new software enables customers to host both block- and file-based workloads on the same platform, and incorporates support for OpenStack on DataStream.

Coho says DataStream is scale-out and for virtual and non-virtual workloads. It provides network-optimised workload distribution and parallelisation to support the scalability requirements of cloud-based apps.

In a virtual environment a user can view, manage, and monitor the individual files making up the virtual machine. ®
