Uber: Can't sue if you die

Testing out Uber's new driverless vehicles in Pittsburgh may come with a price tag a little too high for some: death.

According to The Guardian, which obtained a copy of the release that the car-ordering service requires people to sign before they get into the new fleet, passengers waive their right to sue the company in the event of their injury or death.

The text reads: "I acknowledge that some or all of the AVs in which I ride are in a development phase, are experimental in nature, and that riding in an AV may involve the potential for death, serious injury, and/or property loss."

Well, it wouldn't be Uber unless there was a devastating lack of ethics or morals. ®
