Nexsan's new salesman

Imation storage array subsidiary Nexsan has a new worldwide sales boss.

Tony Craythorne has been hired as SVP Sales at Nexsan. He has more than 25 years of sales experience, running sales teams in the USA, Europe and Asia. Most recently he was SVP of worldwide sales at NexGen Storage, which was sun out by SanDisk and then bought by Pivot3, thus making his position redundant.

Before NexGen he was in management positions at Brocade, Hitachi Data Systems, Bell Micro and Connected Data.

He’ll report to Imation CEO Bob Fernander and be a colleague of CTO Geoff Barrall, who founded and ran Connected Data, which firm is now part of the Nexsan unit at Imation. Small world. ®
