The 'quiet man' of Computacenter quits

Mo Siddiqui, international director heading to Brit hosting biz

The CEO at Computacenter is mourning the loss of a long serving director Mo Siddiqui who has split for pastures new.

Siddiqui was the international director responsible for recruiting 600 services personnel in the US and setting support centres in Mexico, China and India, has resigned.

“He has been the unsung hero for Computacenter, the quiet man,” CEO Mike Norris told us. “I’m very lucky to have worked with some of the most talented people in this industry, and he is up there.”

El Chan understands Siddiqui is set to take a role at a British hosting business. Norris confirmed this but refused provide specific details.

Siddiqui joined services-based reseller Computacenter in 1997 and over the years worked in various sales and marketing and general manager positions. He had the last role since January.

In other unrelated departures, the company has waved goodbye to UK strategic sales director Amir Klaus and Steve Parlett, director of contractual services. ®
