Alleged Aussie plum plucker pleads guilty to motel tissue swipe

'Unauthorised' testicle removal causes ructions down under

An Australian man has pleaded guilty to a string of charges after allegedly performing an "unauthorised" bollock-ectomy on a 52-year-old fellow Aussie in a New South Wales motel.

According to reports, 57-year-old Allan George Matthews has copped to charges of “removing tissues from the body of another without consent or authority”. However, he pleaded not guilty to a charge of reckless grievous bodily harm.

According to reports, the 52-year-old had been suffering ongoing discomfort for years, following a kick in the 'nads from a horse.

While the victim had consulted conventional medical practitioners - i.e. qualified ones - about his nag-knobbled knackers, he sadly couldn’t afford to pay for the appropriate procedures to remedy his problem, say police. So he took the only viable alternative, cops allege - sticking an ad on the internet looking for someone to remove the offending goolie.

Police allege Matthews agreed to meet the man at a Port Macquarie Motel in May, and subsequently remove the offending gonad, the Sydney Morning Herald reports. The State is contending that Matthews is not a "qualified or registered medical practitioner".

Unfortunately, after the alleged incident, the one-stoned digger had a wound which required medical attention. Sharp-eyed medical staff spotted that the wincing antipodean had sustained damage to his lunch box and started asking awkward questions. As a result, police swooped on a home in Glenn Innes where they seized “medical equipment, electronic equipment, seven firearms and four bottles of liquid believed to be amyl nitrate.”

As well as the tissue removal charge, Matthews reportedly pleaded guilty to charges of possessing an unauthorised firearm, not keeping a firearm safely, and two charges of possessing or attempting to prescribe a restricted substance.

Having pleaded not guilty to reckless grievous bodily harm, Matthews apparently has yet to enter a plea on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He will on bail and is due to reappear in court on August 18.

The fate of the allegedly excised testicle was not reported. ®
