Pure expands Evergreen

Pure Storage has two additions to its Evergreen storage program: a Capacity Consolidation program and a Right-Size Guarantee.

With Capacity Consolidation, customers install new capacity into their FlashArray, and data on the older, consolidated capacity is automatically and non-disruptively migrated by Shelf Evacuation functionality into the new capacity. Customers receive a trade-in credit for the old capacity.

Pure says customers don't pay for the same terabyte twice. With the Right-Size Guarantee, customers buy storage directly on an effective capacity basis. They work with Pure and its partners to define effective capacity requirements by workload. Pure uses cloud-based workload intelligence to size the right array for the job. ®
