Twitter ousts top exec. Again

Twitter is looking for its fifth head of product in three years.

The social media upstart has reportedly demoted Jeff Seibert, who only took over the role in September. The San Francisco-based biz does not have a replacement yet.

Seibert was promoted to the position after previous product head, Kevin Weil, joined a number of top execs and jumped ship at the start of the year. Weil replaced Daniel Graf who was demoted in October 2014. And he in turn had replaced Michael Sippey in January 2014 (there are another two going back to 2010).

Even by Twitter's extraordinary rate of executive turnover, the job stands out as the least stable in Silicon Valley. Meanwhile, Twitter continues to fail to find innovative ways to stem the loss of users and bring in additional revenue. ®
