Anon attack Turkish hospital

Elements of Anonymous have pledged to launch attacks on Turkish medical facilities.

Attacks against Turkey's hospitals are billed as a reprisal against recent ransomware attacks on Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, and Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Kentucky. The malware attacks were the work of a small unidentified group of crooks, possibly from Turkey.

The response is planned attacks against databases of medical institutions in Turkey, including the thrashing of servers. The action, on the face of it, is only likely to hurt hospitals or patients rather than crooks. ®
