IBM offers new IoT course

IBM has created a new internet of things course for developers.

Run with and through online course company Coursera, it is designed "to demonstrate the power of the Internet of Things (IoT)" and will teach the architecture of an IoT solution "along with the design principles and concepts behind it," according to the company.

The course is free, with grading and certification available for $79. It requires you to pick up some cheap hardware such as a Raspberry Pi, uses developer tools like Node-RED, and of course uses IBM's own Watson IoT Platform. ®
