Commvault profits up

Commvault grew its revenues and profits in its fourth fiscal 2016 quarter.

Revenues of $159.6m were up 6 per cent year-over-year and 2.5 per cent sequentially. There was a $5.8m net profit, up 70.6 per cent on a year ago, and 18.4 per cent sequentially. Software revenue was $73.3m, an increase of five per cent year-on-year.

Services revenue rose seven per vent y-o-y to $86.2m. For the full fiscal 2016 year, revenues of $595.1m represented a two per cent decrease y-o-y. Software revenue declined 9 per cent to $258.8m, while services showed a four per cent increase to $336.3m. ®
