Obama to admit Moon landing was faked?

More likely than Leicester City winning the Premier League

Bookie Paddy Power has conceded it seriously underestimated Leicester City's chances of winning the Premier League, rating that laughable prospect when the season kicked off as less likely than Obama admitting the Moon landing was faked.

Back in August, the odds against Claudio Ranieri's team pulling off a historic triumph were 5,000/1.

At the same time, Paddy Power was offering 500/1 on a shock Apollo 11 revelation, and 2,000/1 on both Elvis resurfacing alive and well, and Kim Kardashian becoming US president by 2020.

Leicester City currently top the Premier League table with an eight-point advantage over second place Tottenham, who have a game in hand.

If the Foxes hold it together for their remaining four games, they'll have achieved something more improbable even than Jeremy Corbyn winning Big Brother (500-1) or the Pope playing for Rangers (4,000/1).

Paddy Power, meanwhile, could well take a hit to the wallet in excess of £1m, although the bookie's "gaffer" said "while we might be on the brink of being cleared out, I've now decided I'd definitely prefer to see the Foxes win at 5,000/1 than Jezza walking around in his y-fronts". ®
