Nimble gets Leonard the channel Lion King

Leonard Iventosch joins upstart hybrideer

Flash storage vendor Nimble has secured the services of one of the grand old men of the industry with the appointment of Leonard Iventosch as vice president of worldwide channels.

Iventosch is renowned for his channel expertise, with an 8-year stint at NetApp followed by 5 years at EMC/Isilon, EMC buying Isilon in 2010. He left EMC in 2013 and spent just five months at ExtraHop Networks before joining Nimble this month.

Nimble's former sales VP, Mike Munoz, who left for personal reasons in November last year, has returned to head up Nimble's worldwide technology alliances and associated go-to-market sales initiatives, becoming a VP again.

Both he and Iventosch report to Denis Murphy, VP of worldwide sales at Nimble. The firm reports its latest quarterly results on August 25. Will it be another cracker? Probably.

Eric Mann, the interim Nimble Sales VP who left in unfortunate circumstances, has surfaced as a VP at security biz Fortinet. Previously he was SVP for Americas sales at NetApp.

Congratulations all round then. ®
