The gear change paddles – aluminium or carbon fibre - are leather trimmed because anything the driver touches must have a special tactility. It’s a long way from the plastic paddles of lesser cars.

Leather and wood give the car traditional values

The trim and dashboard areas are to one side of the main production line which they feed into. Painted bodies are stacked, curing for a few days, ahead of the line and are fed in.
