X-IO X-CFO X-Forwarded-For more time with her family

New chief abacus-wrangler already found for storage biz

Sealed-box-of-storage-tricks supplier X-IO has lost its chief accounting financial officer.

Carole Gottlieb has decided to resign after being head bean-counter since Ed Welsh went in June 2014.

X-IO spokesperson Bill Miller told us: "Carole will be leaving X-IO. She has invested an exemplary level of effort and commitment to the company over the past four years, far above and beyond the call of duty. I have tremendous respect for her passion, integrity, and skill.

"She wants to spend more time with her family. I respect that too. With all the great new arrivals on the X-IO team, she thought now would be a good time for her to do that. She will be supporting a transition over the next six months. We have already recruited a new CFO who is currently transitioning out from another company. We expect to make an announcement within days."

The new arrivals are:

  • John Grover as VP of Human Resources.
  • Mark Zeller as VP of North American Sales.
  • Tim Cullen as Director of Global Sales Operations.
  • Ellen Rome and Ted Oade in field and channel marketing and demand generation.

Miller added: "We have launched a major push to expand our sales team and channel. We are recruiting more talent in engineering. You will soon be seeing more announcements expanding and enhancing our product line and more partnerships adding to our ecosystem."

X-IO has just launched its all-flash ISE 800 product which topped the SPC-1 benchmark in price/performance terms.

It seems clear to us that we can expect an enhanced ISE product line, and a lot of activity in X-IO's sales area. ®
