Are you clever enough, and brave enough, to give a Register lecture

Got something to say? Tell us all about it

The Register Lectures The Register is looking for speakers who are as fascinating and knowledgeable as our audience and as good at story-telling as our writers.

Our first series of Register Lectures were a great success, with speakers covering Big Data, Interplanetary Exploration and the chequered history of GCHQ. All washed down with craft beers and gourmet pork pies.

We’re currently putting the finishing touches to a second series in May/June and planning another run at Christmas.

However, we don’t want to miss out on any great speakers, so we're offering you the chance to get on the podium yourself.

We want people who are not just clever, but can convince their fellow readers that they're clever and have something really important to say. And that’s quite a tall order.

You know the Reg, so you know the sort of topics we're interested in. Our beat ranges from leading edge technology to the outer reaches of physics, through the history of technology and the battle for privacy.

So if you think you’ve got something incredibly interesting to talk about, and can convince a few dozen of your fellow cynical readers to give up some of their valuable drinking time to hear about it, get in touch.

Or if there’s someone you know that can do all of the above, or who you’d really like to hear, let us know.

Think you're up to? Get in touch with us here. ®
