Developers: Get down and dirty with IBM at Twickers

Scrum down at DeveloperConnect

Promo If you want an extra dose of fireworks this autumn, get yourself down to Twickenham Stadium on 6 November for IBM DeveloperConnect 2014.

You’ll be treated to an array of speakers from IBM, its customers and partners, as well as ex-England International turned Dancing on Ice winner Kyran Bracken.

There’s not a buzzword or paradigm shift that won’t be covered on the day, from the Internet of Things, DevOps, Cognitive Computing, as well as Cloud, Mobile, Analytics, Social, and of course, Security.

IBM will be highlighting its Bluemix Cloud offering to development managers, programmers, testers, engineers and architects, as well as Watson (its quiz show winning cognitive computing platform). You’ll have a chance to play IBM’s free, open source racing game – Code Rally –, and drive the Raspberry Pi controlled Liberty car using just your mobile device. Also, get developing, deploying and managing apps in the cloud in just a few minutes at the Bluemix@Speed Lab.

As if that wasn’t enough, the event will also be hosting the vJUG meetup and the London Java Community.

And if you feel you’re not getting the recognition you deserve, IBM is offering you the chance to take Authorised Pearson VUE tests on the day for 50 per cent off the usual price, with the first 10 attendees to sign up being given the chance to certify for free.

You can register for free: see the full schedule here.
