Hubs and spaces
Every year 100 Per Cent Design commissions specific hub sites as focal points for different areas of the exhibition. The Maker Carousel was put together by Studio Mette for the Interiors Hub with the idea of the commercial journey in mind: think, make, communicate.

This 9m x 9m space allowed for a mixture of activities from getting your hands dirty with acrylic paints, paper prototyping or using the 3D printer on the stand, which took an age to create anything, somewhat akin to watching paint dry.

Still, the space was buzzing with life as the creative crowd did what they do best and crafted away, producing, among other things, unique sculptures and self-styled show bags. More from Studio Mette.
Old hands and students alike couldn't resist a bit of painting
The Workplace Hub design called iAlter appeared fairly low key apart from the massive overhead structure devised by NBBJ that hung in the air like an orgy of church organ pipes.
