Magic quadrant: Top marks for, er, completeness of vision, EMC

The Leaders’ box contains, in rough order: EMC (Syncplicity), Citrix (ShareFile), Box, comfortably ahead of Dropbox (a Challenger) and Accelion.

Citrix bought ShareFile in 2011 and has made an undeniable success of it, which means that, while it may be ahead on "completeness of vision", Syncplicity is slightly behind ShareFile in the "ability to execute" stakes.

Microsoft, Google, IBM and Dropbox can expect to be joined by Amazon in the Challenger's quadrant when the report is refreshed.
