Scoff ye not: Chap carves crunchy carrot-copter
The quadchopper drone you can eat before the cops arrive
Video
We're obliged to Gary Mortimer of sUAS News for flagging up an entertaining piece of tomfoolery in the form of a quadcopter hewn from vegetables - the entirely convincing "Carrotcopter".
Sadly, there's no information on the avionics, or indeed the variety of carrot used to create this magnificent flying machine. The creator describes it a "biodegradable" and "edible", and we'd like to suggest that the latter's the key advantage. If the cops swoop on your multicopter fun under increasingly draconian UAV laws, you may have time to eat most of the evidence before the cuffs go on. ®
