Americans whisk up 106 software jobs in Northern Ireland

Recent grads required

A US software firm is creating 106 jobs in Northern Ireland.

Market Resource Partners, based in Philadelphia, makes sales and marketing software to help companies judge the success - or failure - of marketing campaigns by analysing conversion rates.

The company told the BBC the jobs would be high quality and would pay above the national average. Candidates should be recent university graduates with technology sales and marketing experience.

The jobs are based in the Quays complex in Newry, and should be filled by 2013.

The business support quango, Invest NI is giving the firm almost £850,000 as part of the deal.

MRP said the cash, and Northern Ireland's educated workforce, were the key reasons for the move.

MRP has offices in London, New York, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, Stockholm, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Singapore and Adelaide. ®
