TechNet goes Virtual with online conference for all

Doors open on June 19

Microsoft’s TechNet is running its first virtual conference for the UK tech community, and it's a biggie.

The all-day free event opens for business at 9.30am BST on June 19 and brings together Microsoft experts and the IT community. [And The Register – we are the official media partner for the conference.]

TechNet Virtual Conference is designed to help delegates cut costs, increase efficiency, reduce environmental impact and, of course, learn more about Microsoft technologies. The conference is fully interactive and experts are on-hand to answer your questions.

The day is split into two "auditoriums" running in tandem.

The Technology Auditorium is the place to be for hands-on IT pros. Topics include: Looking at Windows 7 Management; how to do more with less using Windows PowerShell; Desktop Deployment and an overview of Office Communications Server R2.

The IT Management Auditorium covers the evolution of IT management over the next 10 years; virtualisation; sustainable lifecycles and innovation management and the new world of business.

A full schedule and speaker line-up can be viewed here.

Reserve your spot at Technet’s dedicated event page. And join TechNet throughout the day and chat live with Microsoft’s army of experts. Can’t make it on the day? The content will be available on demand shortly after the conference closes.

So register now for the first TechNet Virtual conference and be in with a chance to win one of 500 bags stuffed full of TechNet goodies*.

* Closing date: June 10th. Terms and Conditions apply – see web page for details.
