Fibernet wants £77m for expansion

Don't we all, dear, don't we all

Fibernet Group plc is looking to raise £77 million to create a network in France and bolster its xDSL service in the UK. Some £62 million of the money will be used in France - the rest will be used to extend the company's co-location facilities and DSL trial services within the UK.

Betinternet.com plc - the AIM-listed Isle of Man-based online and telephone betting service - is to start offering tax-free betting to punters in the UK after it was granted an international bookmakers licence by the Maltese Gaming Commission.

AIM-listed technology, media and telecoms incubation and investment company, Cube8.com plc, has paid £75,000 in shares for a 2.5 per cent stake in Room Service (UK) Limited. As its name suggests, Room Service enables residential and corporate clients to order food over the Net from more than 150 restaurants in London. The grub is then delivered within one hour. ®
