WStore starts price war with UK channel

E-tailer pledges to pay double the price difference to punters who find kit cheaper elsewhere

Online reseller WStore is promising to pay customers double the price difference if they find goods cheaper at rival dealers. The Internet company has vowed to start a price war in the channel and match any lower offer on IT kit. "Our offer applies to all our UK competitors, whether they be online stores, High Street retailers, corporate resellers, mail order companies or catalogue specialists," said WStore MD Tony Price. "This is not a gimmicky, short-term promotion but a permanent offer which we believe will have a significant impact on our business and market share," he added. To qualify for the deal, which does not apply to memory and disk products, customers will have to open a business account with the company. For the refund, they will also have to produce written proof of a cheaper price within seven days of them buying their product. The offer excludes special reseller promotions. ® Related Story Net-only dealer sets out Euro-stall
