Oops! Symantec forgets to renew Norton.com domain

Antivirus critic helps out

A critic of antivirus software has stumped up the $35 renewal fee for Symantec's Norton.com domain, after the company forgot to pay.

Brad 'RenderMan' Haines, operator of AntiAV.com, stepped into the breach on Saturday, and settled the bill which had been due earlier in the week.

Last January Renderman performed a similar service for NetworkAssociates.com. Which is nice.

Last May, Symantec failed to renew the digital certificate in time for enterprise.symantec.com. ®
