Release 4 of the Netilla Security Platform has two important new capabilities: secure access
The features augment Netilla's existing ability to provide clientless browser-based remote access
Unlike IPSec VPN , SSL VPN usage requires no end-user configuration - just access to a Web browser. This makes installation and set-up far cheaper. According to META Group, SSL based products will occupy 80 per cent of the remote access market by 2005/06, relegating traditional IPSec VPNs to second fiddle. Competitors include Aventail and Whale Communications. Release 4 of the Netilla Security Platform will be generally available worldwide in June through Netilla's channel partners. Suggested end-user prices start at $10,000 for the B-class, $30,000 for the E-class and $65,000 for the new G-class platform. ®
