Lone Star state piles in to Netscape dialogue

Register believes MS worships devil

(name deleted's) comments on the Netscape vs. IE punch-up have riled Bruce A. Standlee. And he's from Texas:

In reading his comments it became apparent that the gentleman simply needs some attention, with a boot. Navigator started as a much better product than the early, unreliable versions of IE. Mr. (name deleted) should consider that until Mega Satan began coercing / black mailing / bribing commercial website designers to optimize their sites for IE users, Navigator was no more unreliable than the equivalent version of IE. The IE vs. Netscape war outcome depended mostly on MS playing catch up when Billy boy realized that the Internet existed.

As a 6th generation TEXAN I also take offense at (name deleted's) slur. Texans are usually easy going people, until you mess with our kids or accuse us of doing the same. If he wants to come to Texas, I'm sure we can treat him the same way we do people we find using, creating, or selling kiddy porn. If he survives that, we'll introduce him to some diamond- back rattlesnakes.
