Blood lust over BT hack attack

It seems quite a popular piece of sabotage

[We were contacted by an anonymous individual who told us he had shutdown BT's main Web sites in protest of its Internet service. He wasn't joking. BT weren't laughing. But you the readers apparently were]

BT hacked: revenge for crap service

Just tried all three sites (I tried getting to the Gameplay forums, then when it wouldn't load I came to my other fave site... yours) and can't get any of them to load... bt.com is funniest as it says its loading, then says done and its just a white screen :-)

Please forward my thanks to the hacker...as a BT ISDN2e, BT Internet and BT Cellnet customer of the past few years I have personally wanted to do this to this shambles of an organisation for some time now.

Sadly I have not the time, patience or knowledge for this sort of thing, but thank god someone obviously has, the rest of us can only try to depress their share price by posting negative stuff on share dealing sites.

Maybe now they will realise how much they are hated (strong words but true I think) by a large proportion of the net community.

Nice one Mr Hacker

Hi,

How I jumped for joy on reading this. any chance of you emailing back the guy who did it and asking for it to be a regular occurence, say every day, all day?

I've just been screwed by BT, and their tech support people are lying bastards.

Read this for a laugh, and publish it if you want to, removing names of course.

Graeme Nattress

[What follows then a series of infuriating emails from BT's support centre, followed by Graeme's demands to speak to a real human being. If happens in the end. But don't think this will have a happy ending. If you really want to see them, email us and we might put them in next week's letters] ®
