BT releases latest ADSL exchange update

Let's hear it for Frinton-on-Sea

BT has published a list of the latest exchanges to be converted to ADSL as part of its pre-registration demand-mapping scheme.

The following exchanges should b up and running by the end of May:

  • Blythe Bridge, Staffs

  • Breadsall, Derbyshire

  • Diss, Norfolk

  • Frinton-on-Sea, Essex

  • Hednesford, Staffs

  • Lark Lane, Merseyside

  • Rockferry, Merseyside


The rest should be converted somewhen in June:

  • Clandon, Surrey

  • Clydach, West Glamorgan

  • Cotgrave, Notts

  • Cupar Crossgates

  • Daubhill, Greater Manchester

  • Hoylake, Merseyside

  • Iver, Bucks

  • Padiham, Lancs

  • Penkridge, Staffs

  • Ribbleton, Lancs

  • Rye, East Sussex

  • Whittlesey, Cambs

  • Wombwell, South Yorks

  • Draycott, Derbyshire

  • Pontadawe, West Glamorgan

  • Pontadulais, West Glamorgan

  • Rhos on Sea, Clwyd

  • Brixham, Devon. ®
