Verizon Wireless has become the latest US telco to roll out an aggressive price-cutting campaign for its subscribers.

The company said that its "More Everything" service plan will expand data limits on several existing plans while also adding unlimited messaging, online storage, and multiple-device support.

Designed to be a single data plan across both tablets and smartphones, More Everything will offer users the ability to integrate smartphones through the Edge service plan and receive discounts on their monthly charges. The data plans, which range from 250MB to 100GB, will include a 25GB cloud storage account as well.

Additionally, users will have the option to opt in for security services and international long distance coverage for an additional five-dollar fee.

"More Everything changes the game by adding even more of what customers want from their wireless provider in a single, simple monthly plan," Verizon Wireless chief marketing officer Ken Dixon said in a statement.

"Verizon Wireless led the way with the introduction of shared data plans, and More Everything is the next leap forward with more storage, more messaging and more choice, all on a 4G LTE network that is unmatched in coverage and capacity."

Verizon's More Everything is the latest in a series of aggressive wireless promotions rolled out by US carriers in recent months. Spurred on by T-Mobile's Uncarrier campaign, major vendors such as AT&T have introduced their own plans which offer discounts, service bundles, and even poaching campaigns which paid users to opt out of their existing service contracts, and to switch carriers.

Following the Verizon announcement, T-Mobile US CEO John Legere reacted to the news in what has become his typical fashion: baiting rivals via Twitter.
