Vulture South teams with SAGE-AU for annual Sysadmin survey

You fill in a form. We write a story. SAGE-AU improves its services. What's not to like?

Since time immemorial, the System Administrators Guild of Australia - SAGE AU - has conducted an annual survey of its members and of other IT professionals in Australia.

SAGE-AU uses the survey to improve its own services and also take the pulse of Australia's IT workforce, then shares the data with the community so we can all look inside one another's heads.

This year, SAGE-AU has been kind enough to team with The Register on the survey, which we are hosting here.

What do we want of you? Simple. Go fill in the form to complete the survey.

We won't harvest anything about you or send you any email or anything cheap like that. SAGE-AU has given us first dibs at publishing a story about the survey.

Vulture South will use that power wisely. Our team of 1.8 journalists has already started practising pie charts in anticipation of this Media Event No Sysadmin Should MissTM.

Seriously, though: IT professionals hardly ever get asked about their working lives, hopes, dreams and ambitions. Vulture South is genuinely interested to learn more about you and to work with organisations like SAGE-AU that represent you.

What's that you say? We should have stopped writing three paragraphs ago because you're already completing the survey.

Our work here, clearly, is done. Until we report on the results of the survey. ®
