Training On 28 November at 11am GMT, we’re broadcasting a live training session to show you one way of solving the business-critical challenge of managing multi-vendor devices. You'll be able to watch it for free from the comfort of your desk/sofa/bed.

Hosted by The Register’s effervescent Tim Phillips, the broadcast will have Paul Gregory, principal technologist from QA, delivering a hands-on training session on Windows InTune and System Center Configuration Manager 2012 (SCCM 2012). It will show you how they can be used to successfully deliver multi-device management in your organisation.

This will include an investigation into application delivery for multi-vendor devices using the Company Portal, Remote Desktop Services or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

During this session we will demonstrate the areas of device management within SCCM 2012. The first demonstration area will focus on application deployment, including using different deployment types depending on the device, in the process showcasing the device-management and decision-making capabilities of SCCM 2012.

The second demonstration will involve looking at policy management and remote wipe. The broadcast will include live device demonstrations using the iPad and Surface RT and also include demonstrations on Windows Server 2012 R2 VDI access from iOS and Surface RT devices.

The team in our studio are expecting to tackle a raft of difficult questions from you, so please come armed with everything you need to know about managing devices with SCCM 2012 and Windows Intune.
