Cult sitcom the IT Crowd will return to Blighty's televisions in just two weeks, according to the show's Twitter feed.
Fans of the British comedy show, featuring four downtrodden and socially inept IT workers in the basement of Reynholm Industries, will be delighted to hear the news that the one-off special episode – trailed by series creator Graham Linehan back in May – is set to be broadcast on Friday, 27 September.

The show, which ran for four series between 2006 and 2010, starred Chris O'Dowd as easily frustrated techie Roy; Richard Ayoade as unforgettably awkward social outcast Moss; and Katherine Parkinson as failed geek Jen, with guest appearances by Chris Morris (of Brass Eye and Day Today fame) as evil company overlord Denholm Reynholm and Noel Fielding as mild-mannered goth Richmond.
IT Crowd researcher Chris Jones confirmed to El Reg that the one-off special episode will be broadcast in a fortnight's time. ®
