Samsung's Galaxy Beam - the smartphone with a built-in projector - is set to hit UK shelves this month after retailers revealed its expected release date.
The Samsung Galaxy Beam was on show at Mobile World Congress in February, sporting a 4in, 480 x 800 display and a 1Ghz dual-core processor running Android 2.3.
The obvious selling point here, though, is the handset's projector capabilities, able to cast a 50in beam with a 720p resolution. Other specs include 8GB of internal memory, a 5Mp camera and a reasonable battery capacity of 2000mAh.
The Carphone Warehouse has listed the Galaxy Beam as coming in June 2012, with punters able to register their interest from today. Prices have yet to be revealed. ®
