Australian marketing giant STW has added digital services and technology provider Bullseye to its portfolio.

Co-founded by Australian telecommunications stalwart Jim McKerlie in 2000, offering dotcom-era-style integrated digital marketing and technology services to Australian businesses, Bullseye now has a 51 per cent stakeholding from STW.

Bullseye differentiated its technology offerings by expanding offshore in 2006 to establish the largest integrated digital production facility in Indonesia.

The Bali facility now has a team of 60, and the Asian presence has been bolstered by a Jakarta office opened last year.

In Australia, Bullseye has a staff of 40 in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Following the partial acquisition, the Sydney office will relocate to STW’s St Leonard’s campus in January.

Bullseye’s Executive Chairman McKerlie said, “we have been pursued for many years by large communications groups but STW was clearly the best for us. We will retain our unique ‘Bullseye Way’ of servicing clients and we plug into the wealth of expertise and experience of a diversified communication group. We saw the road to Asia several years ago and we plan to travel this journey with STW.”

The support the STW Group’s push into Asia, the company also announced that it has taken a majority position in Indochina’s largest independent marketing agency Edge Marketing and will be opening Jakarta and Singapore offices under the Alpha Salmon brand which is a wholly owned STW Group digital solutions business. ®
