On-demand We think a lot about the network that connects the client to the server room, but maybe not enough about the network inside the data centre.

At least, until now.

Our recent Reg poll shows that the problems of network consolidation, distributed apps and all that spaghetti stuff sticking out the back of your servers is beginning to worry you. And so it should, says Freeform Dynamics' Dark Lord, Tony Lock. He's joined by Charles Ferland of IBM system Networking, in our on-demand Regcast, to break down the problem of these networks into five areas where you can make a difference today - one that will avoid the bottlenecks of tomorrow.

Along the way they discuss the perils of virtual machine mobility, the promise of lossless internet, and the pain in the neck that you have making sure that the data centre network gets the attention - and the budget - that it deserves.
