Steve Jobs death certificate: 'respiratory arrest'

Steve Jobs died at home from respiratory arrest and a pancreatic tumor, according to his death certificate, which was obtained by The Wall Street Journal.
The certificate notes that Jobs died at 3pm on Wednesday, October 5. Shortly afterward, Apple placed his image on its home page, linked to a brief statement announcing his death.
As reported previously, Jobs was buried during a small, private ceremony on Friday, October 7, at the Alta Mesa Memorial Park in Palo Alto.
In a memo to Apple employees, the WSJ reports, Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that Apple will hold an employees-only memorial event at the Apple campus at 10am Pacific time on Wednesday, October 19.
That event, as Cook wrote in a public announcement on October 5, will be "a celebration of Steve’s extraordinary life." ®
