Olympus has taken the wraps off three new members of its micro four-thirds system camera family, Pen.

The additions include the Pen Mini "the world’s smallest and lightest system camera", according to Olympus. A challenger for the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 then. Also dubbed the E-PM1, the Mini is aimed at folk after a point-and-shoot that also offers more creative freedom than compacts usually offer.

Specs include a 12.3Mp live CMOS sensor; 3in, 460,000-dot LCD; ISO 12,800 sensetivity; and 35-point autofocus. Full details on Olympus' E-PM1 page.

Finally, the top-end E-P3 is Olympus' retro-look Pen flagship, again with a 12.3Mp sensor but much faster focusing than the other two, the company said.
