Lady Gaga puts the squeeze on breast milk ice cream
Objects to creamy 'Baby Gaga' blend
The Covent Garden ice cream parlour which recently got busted by Westminster council health operatives over its creamy blend of human mam milk, vanilla pods and lemon zest, now faces a far more serious threat to its jub juice concoction: Lady Gaga.
The singer has taken serious exception to the "Baby Gaga" name which Icecreamists founder Matt O'Connor bestowed on the chilled nourishment.
O'Connor says solicitors representing the conservatively-dressed warbler have fired off a letter threatening legal action over the moniker. He told Reuters: "She's threatening to bankrupt us and she's also threatening me personally, saying she'll seize my personal assets and property."
He denied the name has anything to do with Lady Gaga, defending: "It's just the first noise a baby makes – it's nothing to do with anyone else."
O'Connor is mulling his reply to Gaga's missive, while also contemplating legal action against Westminster council for damaging his reputation by suggesting Baby Gaga might be unfit for human consumption.
The council seized stocks of the ice cream amid concerns it might be a vector for infections such as hepatitis. Despite the fact that the icy delight cleared safety checks, O'Connor insisted: "They made the damaging assertion that breast milk ice cream isn't safe." ®
