If you're a pay-as-you-goer and you fancy a BlackBerry, you can now consider Virgin Media as a possible network.

It's now offering five BlackBerrys - Curve 8520, Curve 3G, Pearl 3G, Bold 9780 and Torch 9800 - on PAYG. The Virgin website is currently only listing the 8520, for which it wants £170.

Punters can buy either a £2 weekly or £5 monthly pass in order to use BlackBerry data services, including up to ten BlackBerry email accounts and BlackBerry Messenger. It also gives you 'unlimited' web access.

That's in addition to whatever you pay for calls. ®
