CES 2011 At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Iomega brought along a SuperHero or two – the name given to its iTunes-less iPhone backup device.

Iomega SuperHero

The SuperHero is a simple docking unit that utilises SD card storage to copy contacts and photos from your iPhone while you charge it. While the device is about as simple as it comes for a single user, the iPhone app that it relies upon for its sync tasks also offers multiple user support.

Alas, Notes, Audio Memos and captured video are beyond the reach of this particular SuperHero. However, it does work with the iPod Touch and supports the iPhone 4, 3GS and 3G. The Iomega SuperHero will be available this January priced at £60. ®
