Three has introduced a one-day internet access package for punters who only need casual 3G data connectivity.

The Pay Per Day deal costs £2 and provides 500MB of data transfer for the 24-hour period. You can buy online or pick up a voucher in shops.

There's no time limit on the vouchers, Three indicated. Buy £10 worth and you'll be able to use each of the five vouchers whenever you need them, it said.

Three currently provides PAYG mobile broadband on a 30-day contract. Pay £10, for exmaple, and you'll get an iPad-ready Micro SIM and 1GB of data. But you have to use it within the month, or lose your remaining data allowance. ®
