Does Quality of Service matter?

And where do you start if it does?

On Demand Well, yes it does matter, that’s pretty obvious. The challenge is being able to demonstrate that you are delivering a quality service, that you are tackling the problems with service delivery and that you can show the business that there is movement from A to B.

On the 3rd of December we ran a live event on precisely this issue - looking at service level monitoring and management and how it can help your business. You can watch it right here.

Tim Phillips, our regular host, is joined by Tony Lock from Freeform Dynamics and Gary Read from Nimsoft: both clever fellas who know the subject inside out. They’ve both been through the wringer in this area, from managing to building, designing and selling. Between them, there isn’t much more you can hope to know about Network Monitoring.

They look at why organisations are using these tools and just how they can help improve the life of both business users and IT staff. They also consider what options are available and where they fit, as well as highlighting some real world usage examples.

They explain the benefits that SLA monitoring and management systems can provide in an era when IT systems have to become more dynamic in response to changing business demands.

This includes discussions around the following:

• Why is measuring the quality of service delivery important?

• Are companies actually doing anything?

• What’s holding things back?

• Real world examples

• Service Level alignment with business need

• Outsourcing/Managed Services/SaaS

• Virtualised Environments - Resource alignment

• Saving Money

• Better “relationships with customers”/raised satisfaction

• Better service

• How to get started

So if you’re feeling the pain or can relate to any of these issues, or just want answers to some pressing network monitoring related questions, then join us. You can watch it at your leisure right here. ®
