Steve Jobs was spotted yesterday at Apple headquarters.

According to Reuters, the Apple co-founder was seen leaving the company's Cupertino, California campus dressed in, yes, a black turtleneck and jeans. And some Apple employees couldn't help but discuss his long-awaited return with CNBC.

It's unclear whether the Apple co-founder has officially begun working again, but yesterday's Jobs sighting coincided with his closely-watched appearance in an Apple press release.

In January, Jobs told the world he was taking a six-month medical leave from the company, saying he needed to focus on health issues that were "more complex" than he first thought. In 2004, he had surgery to remove a pancreatic tumor, and during public appearances last year, he appeared noticeably thinner than usual.

Over the weekend, it emerged that Jobs received a liver transplant roughly two months ago - though Apple has yet to officially confirm the surgery. For many, the once and future Apple CEO is an essential driving force behind the company's cult-like success. ®
