An induction-based charging dock for Wii Remotes has been designed so you’ll no longer have to strip your controller bare each time you need to replenish its juice.
The Energizer Induction Charging System
The Energizer Induction Charging System allows you to simultaneously recharge two Wii Remotes without having to remove sleeves, lanyards or even the MotionPlus add-on. All you have to do is put them onto the docking station.
Unfortunately, details about how long each Remote will take to recharge aren’t yet available, but the picture shows that lights on either side of the dock indicate when a Remote’s charging or fully charged.
Gamers will be able to get their hands on the Energizer Induction Charging System in North America from May, priced at $50 (£33/€38). A UK launch date or price hasn’t been announced. ®
