MWC Making good on its recent promise to launch phones into the UK, car firm Hyundai has unveiled two mid-range devices and a low-end one.

But the firm’s missed a trick with its flagship model – the MB-490i – by failing to include 3G or Wi-Fi. Tri-band GSM, GPRS and Edge are your only options.
The phone’s called Dolphin because, apparently, its sides looks a bit like a Dolphin, Hyundai tells us. Indeed:

A Yamaha-powered speaker system should mean the phone’s able to blast out tunes with some clarity, while tracks can be imported either over Bluetooth or using the memory card slot.
We were pleased with the rear-mounted 3Mp camera’s snapping capability during a demo earlier today.
The D650: twin SIM-er
Meanwhile, the MB-D650 is a smart-looking phone aimed at businessfolk – or anyone with a secret life – because it’s got two SIM slots.
Although only suitable for dual-band GSM connections, the D650 does have a 2in display and 2Mp camera. Web access is possible over... ahem... Wap, and Bluetooth’s included too.
But if you’re looking for a simpler device that you wouldn’t mind losing down the pub, then the MB-105 Chico could be for you.

The MB-105 is the “ultimate low-cost entry-level device”, and it's no larger than a credit card. It’s targeted at pay-as-you-go buyers and has a 1.2in monochrome screen, together with dual-band GSM connectivity and... er... an alarm function.
Hyundai’s MB-490i will wash up in the UK during April, while the MB-D650 and MB-105 will be available next month. Prices haven't been unveiled. ®
