Radio Reg Bundling’s come a long way since Microsoft was dragged through the US courts in the 1990s for wrapping Internet Explorer into Windows.

With the up coming Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 Release 2 and Silverlight 3, it looks like Microsoft’s taking a soft sell to get you to consume the trio without landing in hot water.

Register software editor Gavin Clarke and All About Microsoft’s Mary-Foley find out what Microsoft’s up to in the latest episode of MicroBite.

In our latest show we ask:

Gavin and Mary-Jo are joined by seasoned Microsoft Watcher Steven Bink of Bink.nu and Macehiter Ward Dutton principal analyst Bola Rotibi.

Steven talks about what's cool in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, while Bola says the future is not AIR versus Silverlight - it's bigger than that. A word of caution for podcast purists: Steven was recorded via PC during the Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC), so you’ll get a brief spell of mono imbalance.
