Warcraft player suffers seizure after marathon gaming session
...after playing for 24 hours

A teenage gamer collapsed and suffered seizures after playing World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King for 24 hours straight, it has been alleged.
The 15-year-old boy from Sweden is thought to have suffered an epileptic seizure during the extended gaming session, according to a local newspaper Kvällsposten.
“They played all day and all night,” the boy’s father told the newspaper.
A combination of sleep deprivation, a lack of food and prolonged concentration on the recently released game all contributed to the boy’s medical problem, doctors told the boy’s father.
Luckily, the obsessive gamer is expected to make a full recovery, but it’s thought his father will limit the amount of time his son spends playing the game from now on.
