We offer our condolences today to the good burghers of Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and Valencia, who are as of right now available for public viewing on Google's all-seeing Street View. Here's a nice snap of Madrid's Plaza de Cibeles:

As regular readers will be aware, much has been made of Street View's face-blurring algorithm - tested in New York and now protecting the privacy of innocent Andalucians:

Well, it sort of works, but here's an example of when it doesn't actually work:

For the record, this innocent victim of this drive-by snooping was captured talking on her mobe to her Colombian marching powder dealer. God alone knows how she's going to explain this to her hubby.

Well, what's sauce for the goose and all that, so here's the current state of play (updated this morning) down at our Spot-the-Spycar Web 0.2 mash-up:

Good work by all our snoopmobile-busting readers, and please keep those sightings coming to me right here. Remember to give an exact location for your spot. ®
